Initial Free Consultation (30-45 minutes)
You will meet with our Hair Restoration Specialists and discuss the following things:
Expectations
We will discuss your expectations and explain what you can realistically achieve with a hair transplant.
Treatment Options
We will thoroughly explain the ARTAS, Max Growth and other non-surgical procedures.
Hair Loss and Donor Hair Analysis
We will identify your pattern of hair loss and examine your donor area to make sure you are a candidate for a procedure.
Further Analysis
If indicated we will run blood tests and scalp biopsies to detect underlying imbalances or deficiencies that may be contributing to hair loss.

Follow-up Consultation if testing was Necessary (15-45 minutes)
During your follow-up consultation with Dr. Bobby Sreenivasan:
Imbalances or Deficiencies
We will discuss any underlying imbalances or deficiencies that testing has identified that may be contributing to you hair loss problem.
Treatment Options
We will review treatment options (including non-surgical) and recommend which procedure is right for you.
One Week Before Procedure
Pre-Operative Instructions
As part of your pre-operative instructions, we will provide guidelines on diet, hydration, sleep and other preparations, as well as talk about any prescriptions or supplements you are taking.
ARTAS® Patients Short Haircut
Get a short haircut prior to the procedure. Remember, hair grows quickly.
Max Growth Patients - No Haircut
Do not cut your hair because we will use the ‘stealth’ technique to conceal your procedure. This will make the procedure less noticeable right after treatment.
Last Minute Details
Wash Hair the Night Before
Wash your hair the night before the surgery. Please do not add any gels or other products to your hair
Eat a Good Meal on the Day of Surgery
For cases scheduled for more than four hours, we ask that you have breakfast or lunch before arriving at the clinic (though we do have snacks available)
Clothing
Wear comfortable clothing – please wear a button-down shirt
Items to Bring
Bring something to occupy your time such as a book to read. Smartphones or tablets are encouraged.
